In 2014, Jensen and his family moved to Austin, TX from Los Angeles and purchased this stunning property for an undisclosed amount. The house wasn't even originally for sale, but Jensen and Danneel fell in love with it right away and made the owners an offer.
Built in 1960, the lakefront home features 5 bedrooms and an impressive 7,500 square feet of living space. It originally had a Tuscan theme but was demolished except for the stud farms and completely refurbished in the farmhouse style you see today.
The new home was designed by Paul Lamb Architects in collaboration with Crowell Builders.
The family room, in particular, is one of the most striking rooms in the home. Here you will find beautiful vaulted oak beams at the top and a central two-sided fireplace shared by the living room and dining room.
Nearby, you'll also see the home's gourmet kitchen with state-of-the-art appliances and an island with breakfast bar.
In addition to a living room and spacious family room, the property also offers an informal lounge with a wet bar.
The massive master suite features the same hand-polished oak flooring found throughout the home. However, the wood used in the living room walls is made entirely from reclaimed barn wood.
The master bath not only offers a glass-enclosed shower and free-standing bathtub, but also an absolutely breathtaking view of Lake Austin.
At the back of the home, you'll find entertaining heaven in the form of a massive two-story screened porch. The beautiful 4-foot lanterns that decorate the room are actually owned by Tony Duquette.
The balcony also has a perfect view of Lake Austin, as well as a nature preserve across the lake!

Jensen Ackles bought this Point Dume home in 2012 for $4.8 million and sold it in 2015 for $6.5 million.
